The Equestrian Mindaway Retreat is a place of vitality - whether you are an experienced rider or just hold a place for horses in your heart, we have the right experience for you. The Equestrian Mindaway is a retreat for rebirth and recreation, where you turn dreams into reality and enhance the quality of your life.
The Equestrian Mindaway London is located in the English countryside in the County of Kent, one hour south from the centre of London. We take you through a daily schedule built by professional therapists and trainers - mindfully customised to each visitor or team.
The routine includes:
Yoga/Pilates. Yoga and Pilates are great practices for all equine enthusiasts, because they combine breathing, core strength, and balance. An efficient way to raise vibrational energy, increase awareness and control of your whole body – which is essential for a good rider. And it doesn't matter what shape you're in - these practices can be customised for everyone.
Horse riding. Work with professional dressage rider and holistic horse trainer Linnea Aarflot at the old olympic dressage yard Hilders Farm. Owned by the former olympic dressage rider Sarah Whitmore, it's one of England's oldest dressage stable and the educational yard for the majority of Uk's top riders today. Your riding experience at Hilders will be tailor-made towards your and your horse's goals and needs - whether it's for performance or well being.
Organic & locally produced food. We will support organic and locally produced food during the retreat.
Meditation/Mindfulness A daily meditation calms the mind, allowing you to think and act clearer in every aspect of your life. We work with the yoga and meditation expert Vivianne Freeman. Vivianne has worked as a qualified British Wheel of Yoga teacher and mindfulness coach for more then 12 years, with experience of working with athletes. She helps the riders locate their physical and mental strength and weaknesses, to break barriers and step into the next level.
Book time for yourself. Spending time in a relaxed atmosphere creates the space needed to release emotions, energy and stress. Whether you choose to spend this time in the centre of London, in the nearby country side visiting English castles, or just in meditation - some "time with yourself" will have it's place on your daily schedule.
Emotional Trauma Therapist is available upon request and can be tailored into your retreat schedule.
Companies can book a pre-planned package including an guide for group exercises and team building. Individuals, friends and families can book therapeutic, holistic sessions and retreats for personal or professional growth.

Details We recommend our guests to arrive on the Friday to Starborough Manor. The retreat starts with a early yoga Saturday morning and ends Sunday afternoon.
Price £375 includes all activities Saturday + Sunday: individual coaching for Yoga, Riding, Box for your horse, Mindfulness/Meditation, a theory session about mindful riding and dressage - and transportation from/to Gatwick Airport. If you wish to rent one of Hilder Farm's dressage horses that is possible for £40 a day.
Accomodation: £70 per night, per person, for 2 people sharing one room, or £95 single occupancy, per night, at Starborough Manor is paid separately.
Starborough Manor provides home bakes, organic, full english breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning, as well as complimentary afternoon tea with home baked flap jacks upon arrival, and on Saturday pm.
